Philadelphia Makes No Sense
Read an article on Philly.com referencing the poor investment returns of the City Pension funds which is invested and how the Philly tax payers will be on the hook to make up the differences. No the tax payer should not be on the hook to make up the difference. It should be the City employees and retirees who benefit from the pension fund. The City Administration, Mayor and Council needs to step up and resolve the pension problems. And why did our mayor author the bill to give a bonus to retirees when the returns are great? The bill should have an amendment to also included a reduction in pension when the market is down. http://mobile.philly.com/beta?wss=/phill... Just my opinion.
