The Shadow

A shadow looms over me. It hangs heavy in the night sky. Drop of light rains falls from its grasp. Soaking me, leaving me, testing me. An hour of morning draws near. With light on the horizon I lose all fear. Come home, doors opened, lights broke. Closet full of skeletons old I see. Song of freedom, lore of old. Where to now I've not being told.
