A thought to myself
Make your own religion…religion seems to be more like 100s of people believing something, like if 100s of people worship a deity for rain, do some rituals then it becomes a religion as time passes by, there will be stories around curses, blessings etc. Identification with these sets of beliefs results in being called as religious, following it the rules and rituals which pass through generations. What you are trying to ask is more concerned towards spirituality, religion is outwardly, spirituality is inwardly, when you with an empty mind, no sets of beliefs start to see the essence, start to fill yourself with something which fits your level of understanding. All this inwardly processing leads you to manifestations of it as philosophy, you start to do your own philosophy. You read religions but you are not identifying with it, you are philosophising it and making your own philosophy out of it, then you start to gain followers, they hear you, they start to follow you, they start idealising you, eventually your philosophy becomes a religion, as they pass your words through generations.
