So with the revival getting closer, I’ve had a lot of Phineas and Ferb on my brain. And while I don’t usually engage with the whole “If x character were real they would be disgusted with your ship” arguments because they aren’t real. That’s the whole point. They can’t feel disgust. The thought of how Phineas and Ferb would react to finding out people ship them wouldn’t leave my head. And I honestly think they’d be chill with it. 

Like a new family moves into the neighborhood, meets Buford and Baljeet, gets their whole vibe and then gets invited to PnF’s to see their invention of the day. No one says that PnF are brothers and newbee assumes they are in a similar relationship to Buford and Baljeet. When the misunderstanding is revealed and newbee is mortified Phineas is just like “Nah, I can see it.” and Ferb just gives a thumbs up. 

Later Irving meets up with newbee and slides over a cd like “I’ve got your fix”
