One of my favorite parts about Turning Red is how the girls adopt Tyler into their group by the end of the movie
When I was around their age I had a boy from school who was a piece of shit (much like me) but as SOON as we had 1 interest in common he became a part of my friend group (less integrated then Tyler but still)
It just didn't matter that much how he was a little shit to me, we had fun talking about what we liked and that's what mattered the most
