BACK IN TIME: LADY GAGA PERFORMS AT ARQ CLUB IN PHOENIX KEATING & FALGUNI SHANE PEACOCK
Lady Gaga really went out with the promotion of her album “Born This Way” and occasionally stopped in gay bars and night clubs all around the world to surprise the guests with an impromptu performance of the single she promoted at that time. On July 12, 2011 she visited ARQ club in Sydney, Australia.
Gaga wore a combination of young designer labels for her club performance.
Firstly, her black leather motor vest with gold hardware and matching baroque embroidery on the back is from Falguni Shane Peacock’s Fall/Winter 2011 collection.
The black maxi skirt with mint-green dip-dye hem and studded leather harness belongs to the Spring/Summer 2011 collection of emerging Sydney-based designer Phoenix Keating.
Finally, she donned a custom Keko Hainswheeler gold hardware-embellished bra top.
Her gold sunnies with geometric grid pattern along the sides are a rounder version of the above pictured vintage Dior Edith frames!
The songstress also sported vintage Givenchy 80s logo button clip-on earrings, a Versace medallion-embellished hat.
Gaga purchased tons of vintage Chanel jewelry back in the day. Here she rocked a vintage gold chain belt with coin and double C logo charms as a necklace. I was only able to find a similar version for you as pictured above.
The sheer black long gloves are from Mugler’s Fall/Winter 2011 “Anatomy of Change” collection.
Her coin-embellished leather belt with oversized golden square buckle is also signed by Chanel...
..while the other Greek key chain belt is vintage Versace.
The Italian-American songstress also rocked her favorite Savannah boots from Penthouse.
Lady Gaga was photographed arriving to the Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney, Australia on July 10, 2011 wearing an all-black daring ensemble. Let’s delve into this throwback!
I introduced you to young Sydney-based designer Phoenix Keating a few days ago on La Maison Gaga.
For her hotel arrival look, Gaga combined two of Keating’s Spring/Summer 2011 pieces to create a full, new look. She opted for the presented fishnet tea-length sleeve-less dress and fishnet maxi skirt with satin panel.
The ensemble was matched with Mugler Fall/Winter 2011 “Anatomy of Change” sheer gloves...
...and custom black velvet Daffodile pumps by Christian Louboutin.
