We Review: The Phoenix Process
The Phoenix Process has an album titled Reintegrating the Child. We poor sods could only make it to the second song before we decided to exit the band’s page, forever. The offending track, titled “Meek Pretty Girl,” is an affront to human kind. It sounds like the kind of thing a real-life sex offender would sing to you before cutting off your tongue and adding it to his collection of human body parts. Yikes. Sorry for the graphic imagery, readers. It only gets worse from here. Some of the most offensive lyricism ever written makes its way into the chorus of this song: “His semen ran down her breast.” Yes, the front man of this abysmal group decided that those six words would suffice as a chorus. We’re so disturbed by this single song that we literally cannot write anymore about this horrific album than we already have. Thelma and Louise, out.
