Kashmir
I’ve read too much about Kashmir today to shut up.
So facts
1) Jammu and Kashmir have always been a part of India since the Independence- No. It’s not a “disputed land”. The only reason the world believes this is because time and again Pakistani terrorist outfits have invaded and influenced Kashmiri youths to join the jihad and stuff. That is not a dispute. It is terrorism and infiltration.
2) Kashmiris do not want to be a part of Pakistan- they want to be a separate country (some of them)- which is not practically possible and they know this because Pakistan will invade them like they did Balochistan.
3) The Article 370 when it was formed was meant to give ‘temporary’ sovereignty to Kashmir. This was done to make the eventual inclusion of Kashmir into India smooth.
4) I’m not saying what the Modi government has done is really a democratic move or anything. But the problems you should be having is the cut off of Kashmiris from the world. The autocratic way this was done.
NOT that Kashmir has been invaded.
Because you cannot ‘Invade’ a part of your own country.
You can oppress them.
