I wish I was kidding, but alas. I agree, she never seemed invested in this relationship. Janet would have definitely made her realize that she’s making a huge mistake a lot sooner. And so would Teal'c actually, I’m really upset he didn’t say anything
Yeah, friends don’t let other friends make terrible life choices.. And you’re absolutely right about Teal’c! He’s been there to see Sam and Jack’s relationship, and sometimes I think he might have realized they had feelings before these two idiots, he knows the strength of their bond! Even if Sam might not have gone to him for relationship advice, their are like family at that point and he wouldn’t have let her settle for someone who is not worthy of her

exactly, she didn't have to be a nun, but really, did they ALL have to be creepy? she didn't deserve one who was just, I don't know, nice and respectful of her?
I think Barrett was the only one who showed interest in Sam and turned out to be a decent guy? He treats tries to protect her once from an explosion in the episode where they try to exonerate Jack from Kinsey’s murder, but she tells him him she can take care of herself thank you very much, and after that he shows total respect for her skills. So of course she wouldn’t be paired with someone like that.
Faxon ends up being okay with genocide so he doesn’t count.

One of the things that bothered me was how quickly they were ok to give him classified info at the end. In earlier episodes and even episodes after that, people were not easily just signed into. Like Sam’s father, who was dying and tptb were not ok for Sam to tell him anything, even though he was military, trusted, and will die soon. But creepy!Pete comes up hacking into classified stuff, stalking her etc after a few dates (one date?), and the govt is okay with it?
Tell me about it!! It’s supposed to be the best kept secret on the planet, only a few people outside of the SGC have clearance to know about it but sure, it’s totally fine to tell a random cop just because he saw something he wasn’t supposed to see, that makes total sense! I’m sure the Pentagon was thrilled to give clearance to a stalker who did an illegal background check on one of their officers. It’s not like the NID or someone else could have come up with a cover story or threaten Creep with legal actions (which they were probably in their right to pursue)
