Just a list of some goals I have and principles I try to, and want to, follow...
Being kind, understanding, patient and smile with everyone you encounter, no matter your troubles. Try! Especially smile, never present yourself to a person unless you can at least smile. Be diciplined in this. If you cannot be happy with even the air in your lungs, you do not even deserve life!
Being patient, understanding, and soft with those who cannot help themselves from being stubborn, troublesome and even evil. Pity them if you cannot help them. If they leave troubled, pray for them and you and go on your way.
Defending those who are ill and have no help when they trouble a person. Stand strong against his oppressor. The oppressor is the one who knows better and seeks equality with him, yet he is not ill.
Accepting correction when you mis-judge or mislead. Invite the feeling of weakness when you deserve it, and be silent. Do not not make an exception for this. Accept your due weakness, even when they spit on you for it.
Not changing the truth for others when it would benefit them to know it. Only change the truth when it benefits another, never you! Do not hurt with truth and do not cheat with it either.
Remembering what makes you happy at any economic level. You may, one day, find yourself there. It will feel like going back home for you or moving somewhere new.
Blaming yourself when you seek to put another to blame for any misfortune. The fault is also your own, do not go without seeing this.
What no one can change, that causes you grief, blame only God, then thank him for it, and ask for guidance to see. None can show more faith or love for our creator.
When you must be violent to protect what cannot protect themselves, always hate having to with disgust. This should always cause you grief.
Do not make exceptions for women, passion, promise, money or survival. A man who makes no exceptions for these is a branch that is wet and flexable; a branch like this is alive and hard to pull apart when it is broken. A man that makes them is a branch that is dry and hard; this one is dead, then breaks, and leaves splinters everywhere!
