Took me quite a few extra hour but Im happy with the result! The custom animation for when you turn off and on the glasses 🤌 , the little smoke motion for the coffee 😍, the soft glow of the ambertech 🥰
It took nearly two weeks for Lemres... Two weeks of silently gritting his teeth, mindlessly nodding to every request and acting like the perfect helpful assistant just to to finally get access to his old Phoslytic tablet again. Hard work paid of finally.
He searched and tried recovering files on his personal device but it had been scrubbed clean. It didn't matter that much now anyway. He remembered enough. Having the tablet wasn't enough just yet however.
He was yet to get away from constant surveillance to record his note.
Lemres knew that Zadahim's ship was a safe spot for that but he didn't quite have easy access to it. He couldn't just ask to 'pay the Nordic a visit'. Even talking to him in the corridors wasn't an easy task. He was determined to make this work however.

His assignment for today was on the medical wing of the building. They had caught another reptoid.
Lemres remembered the last time the ABCX captured a reptoid and had him try to mediate. The lizard slashed him quite harshly and had to get some intense surgery.
Lemres was scared
He was terrified he might get hurt again... but at the same time it might be a quick way to be sent to Zadahim since he was the expert in term of alien medical-sciences and would likely be the one treating him again.
Perhaps Zadahim will be in the room for today's check-up.

Lemres entered the examination room across from him sat The Reptoid, a human doctor next to him already. His Nordic accomplice wasn't there sadly.
"Hello" said the Phoslyte in Koem Standard - a language all aliens present in the milky-way agreed to learn as a secondary dialect.
The Reptilian individual nodded his head before replying in kind.
"My name is Lemres, Ill be your translator and counsellor for this examination. Please provide your name and general background."
"My name's Erthak. It this going to be long? I got a delivery to pick up..."
Lemres did his best keeping his tone and posture professional. He didn't want to agitate the prisoner nor make it look like he could be an easy target to manipulate.
While Lemres was trying to explain to Erthak that he wouldn't be released anytime soon, the reptoid sneezed

"Are you ill or is this an allergy?" Lemres squinted
"Im fine as far as I know?" Erthak shrugged "Should I get tested?"
Lemres winced a little, afraid of facing an incident similar to what happened back home. Even if he didn't like the agency he wouldn't wish the plague on them
"Is he ill?" Lemres asked in english, aimed at the doctor.
"The Nordics said the blood test didn't show anything of note." replied the human
"That's not what he's claiming" Lied the Phoslyte "He has Veriliad Flu. It is technically nothing of note to Nordics but not to humans."
"Im sure Zadahim or Thalizur would have mentioned such a thing." they replied, tho they noticeably took a step further away from the Reptoid when he sneezed a second time.
"Im sure it was a small mistake. I hear the two of them have been a bit distracted since Honfiel got sick."

"I will go talk to them." 72.7%

They usually didn't like it when Lemres made decisions on his own like this but he did seem to know more than they did for once. He had also been a great employee since the memory-wipe as well.
"Ill send Zadahim a message to transfer you A.S.A.P" said the human agent
Lemres walked into the hallway and barely 2 minutes later the Nordic joined him.
"I need to take a closer look at the blood test you did. Bring me to your lab, please" the Phoslyte ordered
"Um, sure." responded Zadahim before teleporting them "Did Thalizur make a mistake?"
As soon as Lemres set foot inside the pink lab his muscles relaxed and the sighed deeply.
"There's nothing wrong with it. I just pretended there was. Let me record my brain note for Abok while we got the time then teleport me back. You can send it out whenever."
"Oh! Sure!"

Lemres tried to put as much info in the note as possible but since time was of the essence he was also forced to keep it as short as possible.
"I hope this will be sufficient." sighed the Phoslyte
"Now all I need is to record a normal voice note of the same length and size."
"Ill let you work on that. Just beam me back to base and Ill finish the Reptoid check-up" Lemres said as he disconnected his tablet from Zadahim's equipment "After this, everything is in your hands"
"I hope Abok will get this and soon. Honfiel's health has been deteriorating..."
Things were out of Lemres's control. He wished he could do more not that was all the could be done for now. Until Abok or anyone received his message he would have to keep on acting like a good employee.
Before the Nordic teleported him back down Lemres had one last thing to say
I hope Honfiel will be ok 0%

And with a comforting line, he was back in front of the examination room.
"I can confirm that the Reptoid isn't sick" Said Lemres in English, still leaving the other alien confused and out of the loop "He probably was sick but just finished recovering."
[+ Employee trust]
He equally kept the doctor from the truth by speaking in Koem with the reptilian prisoner.
He didn't talk too much however. He knew any long conversations the Agency couldn't understand could raise suspicions. He didn't want to lose the little trust the ABXC had in him.
Trickery aside, concluding the medical check-up on the Reptoid was quick. He couldn't help but feel a bit guilty looking at him being walked away to whatever holding cell they'd put him in.
Hopefully once Abok comes the Reptoid could escape too.

With his main task of the day completed, Lemres's schedule was technically free but he knew better than to slack off. He decided to go for a lunch break for a breather before going back to work.
He could really use a rest, he was still feeling a bit weak since that memory wipe.
He sat down at a table, it's was smooth cold and bright just like every walls and machines in this facility. An endless see of sanitized white that sucked the life out of everything… He missed the outside.

"Come on~I read those files. It says you CAN eat mean, your people just don't have access to it often" replied the human
"Even humans can have trouble digesting meat after not having had meat for a long time."
"That's true. Look I just know you're a lil under the weather and I figured protein would do you some good ya know." the agent nudged the alien "Wouldn't want ya to pass and end up on the dissection table right?"
Lemres stiffened up. That could be his fate, but more-so Honfiel's
"Tell you what." continued Lemres's coworker "I got inventory duty this afternoon. why dontcha tag along as my assistant. You could have a snooze"
"You forget cameras are a thing." bluntly replied Lemres "I don't think it would be a smart decision..."

The Phoslyte thanked his coworker and resumed eating.
Part of him was curious as to why this human would want to help him in the first place. Maybe this man genuinely saw him as an equal person, maybe he was trying to set him up and test his performances. He'd take note of this
The two of them spent their hour-long lunch break doing some friendly chatting. Well, The human was doing the chatting, Lemres only responded with semi-professional one-liners.
"I think I should get back to work" stated Lemres, food-tray in hand "Good luck with the inventory"

As the alien made his way through the corridor to report to a superior something felt off. He barely had the time to register this odd feeling of tension when suddenly all the human walking by collapsed on the flood.
Lemres rushed to the nearest person, checking their pulse.
These people were alive but couldn't be shaken awake. Panicked, Lemres rushed around to find someone that could help but every human were as motionless as the rest. It was as if the entire facility was put to deep sleep. Maybe the Nordic were still awake. He needed to find them

Lemres moved as fast as he could, more and more human laid unconscious around him.
He rushed toward the medical ward. He figured the 2 Nordics would probably rush there to check on their sick 3rd member if they weren't knocked out like the rest.
"LEMRES!"
The Phoslyte had barely made it into the corridor of the care wing when he heard Zadahim call his name. The Nordic opened his mouth to speak but he was quickly interrupted by the facility's alarm.
"Wha-What's going on?!" Stuttered Lemres
"It must be Abok... It has to be!"
"Uh!?" Lemres and his accomplice had to shout over the blaring alarm to hear each other. "Already?!" "I didn't think he'd get here this fast either but human being put to sleep in mass like this can only be done by Greys." explained Zadahim

"I doubt it. I told you about the no disturbance order. No Grey would go against it."
"But Abok would. H-"
"Abok is different." interrupted the Nordic "A normal Grey doesn't spend all his time playing cowboy dress-up!"
"I do not appreciate such rude comment..." said a resonating voice seemingly coming from everywhere "I dont appreciate you playing victim either"
At the end of the left corridor stood what looked like a human with stretched proportions. Golden glasses and a large hat. It was Abok.
"Abok! You're here already!" Lemres rushed toward him "How did you get here so fast? Do you have the medicine?"
"Grey ships can perform nearly instant travel between planets, traveling between state is nothing." the Grey stated "Let's go. It's time to get out of here."
"The medicine!" Shouted Zadahim, near tears "We had a deal, had we not?"

..This Parasite is nothing but a user." Abok turned toward the Nordic scowling "You're no victim of the ABCX. You're part of it and you enjoy it. Come on Lemres. If he really was a victim and wanted to save his friend from being dissected, why didn't he ask you help them LEAVE?..
...It's because they don't intend on leaving. They'll stay here. As a matter of fact if they wanted to leave, they can do it without you. These motherfuckers can teleport for star's sake!" Abok ranted "He played up the sad puppy to get you to forgive him just so he could use you"
Lermes looked at the Nordic. The blond alien's face looked almost emotionless.
"He needed you to get me to get the medicine because neither he nor the ABXC has access to it." Abok explained to Lemres before then addressing the Nordic "You though I'd come here and fail didn't you?
... You didn't think I could put your entire base to sleep and walk in as I pleased. You just though I'd get caught and you'd confiscate the cure you needed out of my pocket."
"You're more skilled than I anticipated..." Zadahim conceded "Fair play I suppose..."
Abok pulled out two small metal canisters out of his pocket and showed them to Lemres.
"Is this the medicine?" The Phoslyte asked
"It is. And now that you know the full truth Ill let you decided if you still want to give it to them."

"I built us a cabin in Switzerland. Im sure you'll love it. Let's go."
