This is the text that I wrote that goes with my work:

‘Consumption and waste’

We, as humans, have overshadowed our world. It has been discovered that over 50% of the World’s land area has been significantly converted to human dominated land uses. I wanted to express this issue, so in this project I have concentrated on photographing objects that represent consumption and waste. We have become so used to the World that we are living in that a lot of things are normally overlooked. I wanted to focus my attention to these objects, especially rubbish left in the streets and things that signify our need for consumption. By photographing these, it highlights how we are adding to the destruction of our World.

Exhibition

I put my work up for the exhibition. I think that it went well and looks like the plan that I created. I think that the way the images have been displayed is visually pleasing and fits in well with my theme. This is what my work looked like:
