Doing some anthotypes today with blueberries 🖤🖤🖤 the colour changes with different types of paper + as it dries + as it’s exposed to UV light.

School Poster Project: Idea mock-ups!

This whole school poster project has been an interesting process. From the original interview to get the “job”, to emails and meetings on progress - everything has been in Japanese. Which is great practice for me! Just tiring, as well :P I gave 4 ideas for the teachers to discuss and vote on - these are the mock-ups for those ideas. I had two which were Photography-based, and two that were Illustration-based. All Photos used I made sure I was allowed to use, even though these were just mock-ups - making use of the Unsplash library, as well as Photos from past events at the school.  For the last Illustration-based one, I used some of my old watercolours to illustrate what kind of style I could do. It was my last idea, so I has the least time to work on explaining it and making a nice mock-up, but I also explained to them that it was the one that would take the most work.. So of course, that’s the one they’ve chosen! :D ;3; halp

Second piece in this diptych. Not as clean as the first one but I think they still look pretty good together! Gonna silkscreen this on top of a painting.
