Ok, limiting reblogs on this one because (1) I traced the line art, and (2) the photo is not mine. The watermark says 'Ilya Kuznetzov' but there are a handful of people in ballet and/photography it might be.

But! I was very pleased with it so I want to share: a light study backstage (trying to be brave about deep shadows). Drawn as characters Lossrilleth (from @fishing4stars) and Nibenaes (from @yellow-faerie)

Photo traces for funsies

Doing a tracing of a photo today, which is a lot more labor intensive than from a drawing. It’s one of my favorite cosplay pictures, featuring myself as Relena Peacecraft and my ex as Zechs Marquise. I’m working on refining the line art and coloring it in slowly. I’m rather pleased with myself so far.
