People always tell me I'll be lucky if I can find 1 or 2 good friends to keep in my lifetime. Since coming to New York, though, I've been consistently surprised by how many incredible friends--brothers and sisters, really--I've been able to grow closer to and share life with. Each relationship is different, of course (we can't all be each other's besties!!), but each just as valuable and treasured. :) . .
