What your thought on PhotoGIMP?
Hi! I think it’s great for people who are used to Photoshop shortcuts and hasn’t done anything in GIMP before. I use Photoshop for work and so I’m very much more used to the PS shortcuts since I spend most of the day on PS. That said, I also have used GIMP often and still remember some of the shortcuts.
However, I don’t think I will use PhotoGIMP as what it does is just change the shortcuts, and add new fonts and brushes which is not totally a big deal for me. I can also just change the shortcut keys manually myself to match the PS keys I use often too if I like.
Another thing for me is that I personally prefer GIMP 2.8 over 2.10 (I haven’t tried the very latest 2.10 version but I had a lot of issues with the earlier versions which just made me uninstall it). And it seems like PhotoGIMP is for 2.10.
What do you think about it? :)
