Hi Fellow Followers :)
I just wanted to invite you to follow me on https://alishabarik.tumblr.com/! I just recently made this blog with a collection of publications of my original photography. It is just a collection of nature photography from around Washington State, in America. Thank you and I look forward to being inspired by great photographers out there!
“A House, not a Home”---by Erin Hanson
I wish you a wonderful day of admiring great spaces and places!
You can't make homes out of humans, my life is not a fire to keep you warm, my arms aren't walls to protect you, from your own internal storm. My heart is not a light switch, for you to turn on when you please, and I can't carry the weight of your regret, Because I'm buckling at the knees. My legs may not be a solid foundation, But they aren't yours on which to build, And the holes in my heart can fit us both, But you do not decide how they're filled. You can't make homes out of humans, And I won't let you in just because you have knocked. And if you keep using my heart as a doormat, next time you'll find the door locked.
From Atticus...
“She was powerful, not because she wasn't scared but because she went on so strongly, despite the fear.”
A note on the confusion of life… from Dr.Seuss
“You’ll get mixed up, of course, as you already know. You’ll get mixed up with many strange birds as you go. So be sure when you step… step with care and great tact and remember that life’s a great balancing act. Just never forget to be dexterous and deft. And never mix up your right foot with your left.”
“For Fear”---by C.JoyBell C.
“To know a species, look at its fears. To know yourself, look at your fears. Fear in itself is not important, but fear stands there and points you in the direction of things that are important. Don't be afraid of your fears, they're not there to scare you; they're there to let you know that something is worth it.”
