Ah, the teacher. She had heard about this man a lot. More than a lot from multiple sources, actually. She took stock of what was in front of her, not really worried or intimidated by the showmanship of his outfit but still cautious. His reputation was well earned and she wasn’t entirely sure someone wasn’t throwing money around to get rid of her at the moment. It wasn’t likely, exactly but that didn’t mean it wasn’t happening.

Sheriff Sam from Welcome to Night Vale. I’ve been listening to WTNV for a really long time and when Sheriff Sam was introduced, I kinda instantly fell in love with them?? Sheriff Sam is, as their name suggests, the sheriff of Night Vale and their preferred method of answering questions about what the secret police is up to is abstract art. Also, they’re an asshole, but also really passionate about protecting Night Vale (not always in a good way) and they have a kickass shotgun.

They’ll definitely be a challenge to write because having characters communicate in Dadaism is... a hard voice to capture, but that’s part of the appeal tbh because I want more experimental and challenging things to write
