How it all began.  Sort of...

I’ve been interested in photos for a while.  Not so much in taking photos, more so in editing them.  The only problem I had was that I couldn’t find photos that looked like the images in my brain muscle.  This began my photoshop journey.  After a while I realized a simple truth.  If I wanted to see what I saw in my head, I’d have to take my own photos.  So I jumped in and bought the cheapest camera I could find, and started taking really shitty pictures.  Not photographs.  Pictures.  This was unacceptable.

I managed to get myself in trouble with the law and lose most of the people that I used to call friends.  With so much newly found free time on my hands I began to look into my hobbies a little more seriously.  Photoshop is fun, but it doesn’t make me move around much.  Being a person diagnosed with fatassalitis, I really needed to find a hobby that got me outdoors.  I tried drones.  They had a really high learning curve and the photos I produced were cool, but I still felt out of touch with my subjects.  Photography was the next logical choice.

I spoke to my daughter’s photographer.  She’s had a photographer since she was 11 days old.  She’s now 11 months old.  Rough life!  She sold me my first prosumer camera.  It originally belonged to the person that taught her to shoot.  To my knowledge he was the original owner.  Either way, it’s in great condition, and now it’s mine!  I shoot with a Canon 60D.  I’ve got a nifty fifty, and some other lens that I can’t remember the range on.  Weird that I can’t remember it because it’s my favorite lens to shoot with.

So that’s my story.  I’ll be adding to it  until I get locked up.  Then when I get out, I’ll add to it some more.  I hope you enjoy my photos, and I welcome all criticism, constructive or otherwise.
