i think one of the worst parts of simply faking it till you make it so to speak is you are still faking it the entire time so you can just feel the truth sitting there simmering underneath the surface but you are trying to make it so you can’t admit to it or look it in the face so you just have to keep slogging through the faking it no matter how much it fucking weighs you down

really randomly deciding to get your shit together one day is so bizarre because when i was a teenager id be up till 4am on my computer sleep till 4pm if allowed (up at 6am for work otherwise [yes i was running around on 2-3 hours of sleep regularly]) made it a challenge with myself to consume under five hundred calories and would forcefully vomit anything extra was so dehydrated my piss was orange so physically weak from all of the above i had heart arrhythmia from basic exertion i lived in squalor and wanted to kill myself over it constantly

and now my bedtime is 10pm i wake up at 6am every morning i have a 32 oz water bottle i drink at least 4 full of every day i eat breakfast lunch dinner and snacks i have 3 hour average daily screen time and 2.5 of that is spent on an ebook reader app reading books every tuesday and friday i get up early at 5am to clean my whole apartment before work i take two daily walks one in the morning one in the evening im getting ripped as shit and feeing so impossibly Normal and Fine and it’s so insane to me

just sold some shelves to a very effeminate older artsy theater gay man off craigslist and i forgot i like look like this and live in the ghetto until he was so nervous picking up his hands were visibly shaking as he handed me my money
