How to modify the PHP Configuration in cPanel?

Click on the MultiPHP INI editor icon. Change the PHP configuration here. There are two different modes. Select a domain name from the drop down menu. Change the PHP configuration variables. Here you will find an existing PHP.INI file. Edit the configuration and submit.

LAPP part 1.

OK, my first project for this blog will be to learn PHP, and then Drupal. Nothing much, I know. I finally got a linux boot back on my machine, and decided to go with Mint 14 (Mate). Everything is fresh, so my first step is getting a LAMP stack installed. Well, almost, I've decided to use PostgreSQL instead of MySQL for a couple of reasons

I've never used Postgres, and I've heard good things about it

MySQL is now owned by oracle and no longer free (I have heard there is a fork of the last non-oracle source)

My starting point is this tutorial, hopefully switching out that M for an additional P won't create too many issues. The first couple of steps are quite simple if you've used Linux before, luckily I have so it only took me a handful of minutes to get PHP up and running. 

My PHP info page rendered beautifully by Chromium. Whatever.

Damn, I need to go, looks like getting Postgres up and running will be the next post.
