Phyllis Allen played his matronly wife, they first appeared together in some of Charlie Chaplin’s Keystone films from 1914.

She appeared 3 times in the role of his domineering wife, more than any other actress, even Edna Purviance . Along with this film, in two of his Keystone's "The Rounders" & "Getting Acquainted" 1914.
