Laptops — Hedwig has her own. She saved up for it for months and bought a used MacBook Pro at a pawn shop. Sometimes, she lets Yitzhak use it, but mostly only when she's in the same room as him. He's gotten pretty good at hiding his tracks, searches, and downloads from her, but occasionally he'll miss something and Hedwig will all of the sudden be recommended ads for Drag Race, which she high-key thinks are mocking her.
Phyllis also has her own laptop, but she bought hers new from an actual retail store and put more thought into the actual specs than Hedwig put into hers. Phyllis's laptop is also the one that most of the Angry Inch uses, but rather infrequently and mostly to video chat with people back home.
Cell phones — Hedwig and Phyllis have their own, both smart phones, both bought new. Hedwig is on Boost Mobile since its relatively cheap and if she absolutely had to, she can skip/delay payments or pay for a cheaper plan for the month. She's not happy when she had to, but when it's cell phone or food or cell phone or motel room, the other choice wins out more often.
Once again, Phyllis has the more practical and regular plan for her budget with international calling. Her phone is usually the most recent model and technology and she frequently trades it in for the latest and best. (This is also the phone that the Inch members use to call home when they use the phone instead of the laptop.)
Music players — Hedwig was the first one to get an mp3 player, while Yitzhak was still stuck on cassette tapes. Yitzhak has since talked her into letting him get a cheap, off-brand one of his own. The rest of the Angry Inch shares a single mp3 player, multiple pairs of headphones, and a CD/radio/cassette boombox. Phyllis does not own a portable music device, happily sufficing with her phone and laptop instead.
Other — Phyllis owns a video camera and a photography camera for capturing the band in action. She has a couple of lenses and different shutter speed settings memorized for night/concert photography. She's no Mick Rock, but her photos usually turn out pretty well.
