I reworked my AU Ghetsis reference because I didn't quite like his old one anymore. N and Hilda are also in the WIP pipeline.
This was a lot of fun and it felt great to see how much I've improved with anatomy and drawing clothes. The info on both versions of the ref is relativly similiar.
Some info about the additions:
I hc him to be the child of teudan (german) immigrants that came over from Teudo (my region based on Germany) to live in Unova (you know, America). He's able to speak the language but has an accent as well as not much of a vocabulary for specialized topics. So all he can handle is a mundane conversation. Frag ihn nicht nach dem Kuh-Muh-fleischetikettierungsüberwachungsaufgabenübertragungsgesetz :(
I added Meoletta back to his team. At first it was a cracked idea because I thought it would be funny. But I've actually found a way to apply this mon to my story. So stay tuned for another 28 years.
Also I've picked up on his design philosophy that every shitty thing that happens to him results in a physical mark. Not fun for him. Very fun for me, as the creator.
Hammered in his butterfly/ moth symbolism. Added some songs for the vibes.
Added a more precise date for when this version of him exists in the story's timeline. Roughly 7 -8 years after W2. Right before shit hits the fan, again.
The reason of the years being in the 3000s instead of the 2000s is because seemingly, 3000 years ago was a turbulent time in the Pokémon World, with the Kalos war, the original dragon splitting, all all that. Plus I assume canon to be a slightly futuristic setting due to their insane technologies. So I went wild with that idea. Technically its also a higher fantasy pseudo utopia. Because things are all dandy on the surface.
So Ghetsis is 49 years old here. He looks a bit young for his age because, well, some of the legendary riders in my AU don't age due to their legendaries' power and the Taos are some of them. Immortality torture chamber let's goooo
