I love CDs. This latest one from #speedyortiz (@sad13) is absolutely amazing, and it's probably my favourite album of 2018 so far? I've been listening to it constantly in the car, one of many of a large CD collection in the car. Ever since I was young I've associated car journeys with CDs and listening to albums on the way to various activities, events and holidays with my parents. From Sheryl Crow on holiday, to Franz Ferdinand driving to the library, to RAM by Paul McCartney on the way to a friend's house, putting a disc on in the car has always been a big part of going places and my musical upbringing. And I'm still discovering great new music by listening in the car on the way to work, as I have done with the Speedy Ortiz discography recently.
