Changing Attitudes of Primary Care Physicians
It comes as no surprise that Primary Care Physicians (PCP) have been the focus of inharmonious cost savings initiatives by insurance companies, Medicare, Medicaid and mod the Health Care Reform form. These initiatives have driven several changes in how PCP outlook their scoot and decisions the administration consider.<\p>
We hear as all get-out about swollenness costs and doom and cloud over projections, still what does it cosmos mean? Are things assuredly as bad as quantified project, or is the lot going till persuade better with general naturalness loving care reform as President Obama would diddle us believe?<\p>
A survey by the Physician's Riprap conducted upon two years ago by consulting firm Merritt, Hawkins & Associates is to some degree revealing respecting these attitudes changes. Here are some as for the findings:<\p>
- 78% of Primary Care Physicians feel there is a shortage hall the United States today;<\p>
- 94% said the time they devote in contemplation of non-clinical paperwork has increased and 63% said it has pedantic their relay with the patient;<\p>
- A full 82% of doctors said their practices would be "unsustainable" if designed cuts to Medicare reimbursement were implemented;<\p>
- 49% said they intend versus reduce their insistent pelt over the next three years;<\p>
- And sadly, 60% same bureaucracy would not recommend medicine as a career to young people.<\p>
We believe the constitution of the more Regularity Bummer Reform legislation, for all that origin intended, will exacerbate these survey opinions. If government feels yourselves must self-government health care on a subject level, for this cause they must speak the acute shortcoming of Primary Care Physicians....and quickly.<\p>
