Science Exhibit Display
These are two ideas for an exhibit display:
The first one looks appealing because it stretches out in front of you, but the second one would work better with the prism idea because of the fact that it's circular and could go at the base.
Other advantages:
- It seems like the base of the second one is lighted, which could look cool at night, but would not necessarily show any physics
Here is my rough draft of my panel for the prism display:
Physics exhibit critique response
What aspects of your exhibit draw the most praise/attention? Why do you think so? The fact that our exhibit is aesthetically pleasing drew the most praise. I think that although we worked on the science, I think that we need a better explanation about how light refraction works. Based on the feedback, what are the important steps you need to take next to improve your project Some important steps in perfecting our exhibit are to research and plan our project better. We need to research the science behind the exhibit, as well as plan on how to get the materials to build it. We also need to find out how to construct it. We only have a little while more to complete it. Reviewers were ask to comment on your content knowledge - what feedback did they give you in this regard? What things do you need to put into your placard to make this stronger? They told us to give more information. Some of our explanation was a little "dumbed down" in order to make it understandable to the average person. However, I think it could use a little bit more of an in depth explanation. What was one thing about the feedback that either surprised you or you felt was missing? I think the feedback about the design was lacking. I think that the could have commented on the design of the prism, as well as its mechanics. However, the criticism was pretty constructive.
