“Say… how would you feel if you picked up a serial killer?” Scar asked, a grin concealing anxiousness.
“Well, what are the odds of two serial killers being in one Uber?” Grian wondered, fingers tapping the steering wheel to an invisible beat.
Scar laughed nervously and Grian laughed along with him. His eyes met Scar’s in the rear-view mirror and they stared at each other in tense silence for a few long minutes. Eventually, Grian spoke up again, smirking. “We’re going to take a little detour.”
or: Grian, some random Uber driver with a less-than-legal pastime, picks up a serial killer. Can he complete the drive while evading capture? Hopefully. Both his and Scar's lives depend on it.
