Long Overdue
*゚:*:✼ ❀ — The best part about the holiday season was giving gifts. Unfortunately, Laney was out of town for most of it, but it wasn’t to say that she forgot about gifts!
Addressed to Licorice was a note and a bag of baguettes. The note read as follows:
Dear Licorice,
You may not remember me, but I remember you fondly as a loyal customer, so have a little treat from me to you. Say hi to the faires for me, okay?
Best, Laney

For Aurelia was a locket.
Dear Aurelia,
I had purchased this some time ago with the intent of giving it to someone special. Although we never really spoke much, I think this would look lovely on you.
Best, Laney
@gun-nun
For Ellen was a jar of honey chamomile tea along with Laney’s special recipe to make it.
Dear Ellen,
Thank you so much for being such a great employee and dear friend. I hope that you continue to spread your kindness and succeed to great lengths.
Best, Laney

For Visnal was a copy of cookbook Laney herself had been writing.
Dear Vishnal,
Thank you for supporting me and making my day brighter. I have faith in you that your cooking skills will only grow from here. I hope that you make good use of this, I had been writing it ever since I was handed the keys to the bakery.
Best, Laney
@butlerpower
For Mikhail was a clear umbrella.
Dear Mikhail,
Thank you for showing me what it’s like to dance in the rain. I know you prefer to be showered by the Goddess’ gift, but please, take this, if not for yourself, then lend it to someone in need of hand. You were always good at that sort of thing.
Best, Laney

For Felicity was a set of golden cutlery.
Dear Felicity,
I hope that you enjoy this. I know how you love tasting diverse flavors, so I figured why not have a set of tools to carry along with you on your adventures? I am so lucky to have found someone so similar to myself and a family member at that. Keep in touch, alright? You’re always welcome if you ever stop by Bluebell.
Je t'embrasse très fort, Laney
@gourmaid
Along with each of the recipients presents, was a single statice from a bundle she had bought at some point. Attached was a short and sweet note that read:
Thank you for everything. This flower represents remembrance, so don’t forget me, okay?
