[🐎] — She chuckles, smiling at him adoringly as he pulls her close. “Heh, guilty as charged…” Humming, she buries her face into his neck with a smile— her lips stretching even further when she hears his follow up compliment, voiced quiet and sweetly, like a secret admission. Something precious, meant for only the two of them.
As he pulls away, Georgia tilts her head curiously when Neil begins to list off a few things. The first one alone was enough to make her happy, but the second had come as a total shock. Up to this point, most of their dates usually consisted of quality time spent at home. Rarely did they ever do anything special, like go out to fancy restaurants, or shows at the theatre, or… whatever people liked to do on dates.
Neil, introvert that he was, just wasn’t the type to do that sort of thing, and Georgia was a homebody herself, so she was fine with it. But the thought of going out on some fancy date, all dolled up and draped on her boyfriend’s arm as they went about town… parading their relationship in public, for everyone to see? Why, it brought an unimaginable heat to her cheeks.
But she actually didn’t hate the idea at all. In fact, Georgia felt pretty… excited.
“W-well,” She sways on the spot, their joined hands swinging as she ducks her head to hide her reddened cheeks. Goodness, look at her! Fawning like a smitten schoolgirl… “To one? Absolutely. And to two… I would really like that. No, I’d love it.”
Still feeling all sorts of bashful, she lightly kicks him in the leg. “S-so you better make it a good one, y’hear me? We’ve got a lotta lost time to catch up on…” And though she did partly mean that (he DID miss her birthday, after all), what mattered most to Georgia was simply spending time with him. They could sit by the river talking all day, and she’d still consider that an amazing date.
“So,” She looks back up at him, “What’s number three? You said you had three things to say, right?”
♬‧͙⁺˚*・༓☾ — “Yeah, as long as you don’t make it such a big deal or do something embarrassing.” He scoffed. “But, I owe you my time, and a lot of it. Besides, I’m friends with one of the servers—” just don’t mention that the server is Felicity “—so I’m sure I could work something out.”
Ever since the voyage they took, in combination with seeing how similar they were to the couple on that island, the fate that the two lovers had, not to mention he almost lost Georgia, he didn’t want the same thing to happen. Especially now that he knew he felt strong, intense feelings for her.
Sure, moving in was a step he’d figure they’d eventually take, but now that the offer was nearly on the table, he was less prepared to throw it out there than he thought. Just like with the other steps in this relationship, it may be something new and scary, but they were in this thing together.
It was kind of weird. He wasn’t the most confident person before this relationship, nor during, but through it, somehow, Georgia rebuilt a little here and there along with notes of reassurance that she was by his side. Hell, she even stuck by him when he couldn’t be there for her, so visiting her tonight was the least he could do.
“O-Oh, right. Um... Well, I was thinking about it a lot and...” His gaze travels to his hands which were interlocked below him and his voice gets quiet. “How would you feel if I moved in?”
He takes small glances back up at her to gauge her reaction.
