Sprouts for Sprouts || Raeger & Lara
Raeger loved bringing healthy meals for the children at the orphanage. His grandfather had taught him nearly every possible way to make normally rejected healthy foods into dishes that could be enjoyed by even the pickiest of eaters, and he was always happy to see that these meals worked so well.
As usual, he stopped at the front door of the orphanage to wait to see a caretaker. Sometimes, there were children excitedly waving at him from behind the adults; those were his favorite times. One thing he did not expect was the person who answered the door: the kind nurse who knew he ripped his pants during a festival.
He tried to keep his face from going red when he greeted her.
“Hello, miss. I brought some food for the kids. Is this a good time to bring it in?”
