open to business [ Chase / Veronica ]
Someone had told him to stop by the Arcadia City Hall before, but between work on Leuda and work traveling between and drinking a fair share of wine in between that - well, who had the time? Chase eventually found the time, though, when he had an extra few hours before he needed to head back to Leuda. He hoped he wouldn’t need to have set an appointment, though.
He went to the city hall with nothing particular in mind, just that maybe he might drum up some interest in his business. There were plenty of businesses on both islands that would benefit from a cheaper delivery option, anyways, they just needed to know about it... right?
Chase struck up a brief conversation with the secretary in the front, who directed him to someone else, who directed him to some woman named Veronica Kiss and whose secretary was either conveniently not in front of her office or perhaps she didn’t have one. Oh well, how convenient for him.
Chase knocked on her door, waiting for a response before calling through the door: “Hey-- I wanted to talk to you about business, if you had a minute?”
