I’ve got mixed feelings about how picard wrapped up its season 1 storyline but let me tell you there is no sweeter feeling than a berman-era trek character being canon queer
Picard Trek: *Released trailers*
Literally everyone:
I know this has been said before, but if Picard doesn't have an episode titled "LGBT...Q?" then what is the point?
I just watched Picard and it was everything I wanted it to be. I can't wait to watch more.
I will be tagging spoilers with "picard spoilers" if you want to filter spoilers.

How Picard Trek can open
Picard is happily enjoying golden years, maybe he’s teaching, maybe he’s at the family vineyard, maybe he’s having archeology adventures. Either way he’s happy and living as quiet of a life that Q (who he is now married to) will allow. And then a Donald Trump like person is elected, and Picard realizes he can’t just sit their quietly while this man and his cronies try to ruin all he holds dear. The values he fought for, the morale's he tried to instill, and this man will destroy it all if no one stops him. So he throws on the old uniform like a superhero coming out of retirement when an new threat emerges and sets things right.
