Crowdfunding a Speakeasy Booking with Picatic
As we previously mentioned, The Rock Garden in Toronto is a really interesting venue. It shows us how social space sharing can open up all-new possibilities for parties and other events. We certainly don't have a hot tub in our backyard, but somebody does! So we booked it - and we want you to party with us.
We are using an awesome event crowdfunding platform called Picatic, which takes a lot of the risk out of hosting an event. They also recently announced FairPay, which is a pretty neat concept where you pay them what you think is fair for the service they provided.
On August 9th, join us for a daytime-nighttime backyard BBQ, with food & drink, burgers, a fire pit, and an 8-person hot tub, all right off the Queen streetcar :) Pitch $5 to our Picatic campaign and get free beer at the party.
