PICK’d - Concept Sketches: Zean’s Bracelet

A design pass and gestures for the bracelets Zean wears in the film. I had at least a few close ups planned of them so I did a few options for on what the design on them should look like. The take I ended up going with was based off of an old earring of mine from when I was a kid.

PICK’d - Concept sketches: Kassier

I’d been meaning to update Kas’ design for a while and having him in my thesis was the perfect opportunity to shift something around. Changed his hair, for one, and got rid of the dark tips he had. Went back and forth on whether or not to lose the tail but in the end I kept it, because I wanted to. End up being fun to animate, so win-win.

#PICK'd #Thesis Film #Kassier #OC #a lot of his marking went but only for the sake of film #I managed to keep the ones on his face in animation but tracking everything else would have been a hassle #He'll still have full body marking for anything outside of this.#looking back i made a lot of choice that weren't necessarily best for animation tho #such as his hair and tail #but i had fun so it's all good right? right??

Not exactly concept or exploration, really. Just getting used to drawing them again.

I’m still working away at film, I might be at it a little bit longer that I anticipated but in the meantime, here’s the the poster I made for it!

I may post some stills from it while I try to get the rest done, but for now look forward to seeing it sometime in May!
