Three Cheers for Pick.Click.Give, GiveBig and Idaho Gives!
It has been a big (no pun intended) month for giving, as we celebrated the continued support of our communities in Alaska, Idaho and Washington state. These online giving events were matched dollar for dollar by anonymous donors, then stretched even further by the events’ sponsors. We have been blown away by your generosity. It is moments like these that show us just how strong our supporters are because they are standing with Planned Parenthood, even while under attack.
In Alaska, the annual Pick.Click.Give was a chance to dedicate all or part of residents’ Alaskan Permanent Fund Dividend to us. This year, we beat all prior records – we had more new donors in Pick.Click.Give than any other organization, and we came in at a close second. This is huge!
Following this, we learned we came in FIRST for Idaho Gives, a one-day online giving event across the state. A new win for us and something that made the staff feel incredibly proud, especially in a state that continues to chip away at reproductive health care access.
And lastly, in Washington, we had our biggest GiveBig yet. The donations made in Washington are critical to providing health care access for Washingtonians near and far.
