       abby quickly checks around for guards before she pushes her way into their hideout. she’s lucky marcus hasn’t asked yet, because he’s one of the FEW people who would actually know where to look for them. she’ll have to come up with a contingency for if that happens, but for now, she’s focusing on HER MECHANIC. ❝ raven, ❞ she calls, looking around for the younger woman, ❝ i brought lunch, and before you say anything, you’re not gonna make it to EARTH if you starve to death before then so come on. ❞

          one second he’d been fine, standing by the comm as a chipped jasper droned on and one-- the next, he was down, suddenly overcome by a sick chill and dizziness. he clutched at the bleeding gash on his stomach, realizing a little too late, that maybe, maybe he wasn’t okay, afterall. the world was blurry, lights, sounds fading and melding together, but he could make out raven. her words. a blood stained hand reached out to her, though the effort was exhausting.

          “Of course I will,” but there was a tremor in his voice that only made his words seem all the more false. “Don’t worry about me. ALIE. You need to find the kill switch.”

          everyone has been through hell and back, and murphy has to admit he’s a little relieved to see raven. she’s always been able to keep up with his wit. ‘ looking good, reyes. ’ the words spill out over a smirk.
