The Gnome of Girona: On September 15th of 1989, the discovery of the remains of a "Gnome" creature rocked Girona, Catalonia Spain. The tiny being was reportedly captured by campers in the forests between the villages of Banyoles and Olot. It had unfortunately died within 24 hours of its captivity, but it's corpse had luckily been preserved in formaldehyde.
