The whole "the guy who starts out as an aggressive/rude/disrespectful asshole is actually the love of your life" thing is so sick to me. Like, can we stop teaching women to expect unhealthy dynamics or even abuse as "normal" or attractive in romantic relationships?
maybe i’m just boring but i’ll always go for the sweet love interest who treats you well instead of someone who constantly disrespects you. i’m not interested in being treated like shit.
