Picplum adds new features

When I first posted about Picplum back in January, they only offered 4x6 prints, but now there are more print size options-- 4x4, 5x5, 5x7 and 8x10-- so even Instagram users can now share print versions of their favorite snapshots with family and friends. Also, Picplum now lets you add a caption on the back of each photo along with a personalized greeting (per package) at no additional cost.

Another interesting new feature is that you can link up your Picplum and Facebook accounts to add a recipient, which comes in handy if you don't know someone's mailing address. Through this new feature, Picplum is able to message your recipients, link them to an address form, and automatically ship your package once the recipients enter their info.

First-Ever Photo Prints of Sawyer from Picplum

Sawyer’s 1st birthday is next Friday! Anyway, while I’ve kept a file with all of his photos (over 300), I had yet to own physical ones… well, until Picplum sent my favorite snapshots inside a purple envelope.

For those not familiar with Picplum, it is a new subscription-based photo printing service from San Francisco that makes it easy to share photos-- especially to those with babies, puppies, or non-tech-savvy family/friends. Every month, Picplum will automatically print high-quality 4" x 6" photos of your uploads and mail them to whomever you want, and/or send them via e-mail if you choose. All you have to do is upload your favorite photos (10 to 15) and add recipients’ names along with their addresses.

Once you upload the best photos of the bunch, there is no need to go through the trouble of selecting individual photos or inputting individual recipients each time you want to send a new badge of photos.
