Just finished the first novel ive read recreationally in 8 years TwT at least I'm getting back to it!!
Its "And Then There Were None" by Agatha Christie
It was a pretty interesting reading process, though the epilogue reveal was... somewhat underwhelming? Some mild controvances made me absolutely positive that it WAS NOT the judge
Though my theory that someone dead was orchestrating events was correct, he became "dead" way later than he wouldve needed to for some of the timelines to make sense, ie. When they were all helping in the kitchen but the old lady still got needled, and when the hell did he get the chance to hang up seaweed in Vera's room???
So the twist was less of a "MY GOD, HOW SMART!" Kinda thing and more of a "oh, i guess that works...?" Kinda thing
My guess had been Mrs Rodgers (faked death) or vera!! Though i guess vera did kill two technically LOL
Tl;dr the mystery was more interesting than the solution
Might be some degree of ace, but the ace community feels incredibly hostile/condescending to anyone who experiences sexual feelings to any degree, so I dont rlly want that label. Yk?
