I’m an English major who wants to go into content editing, I will read and go over anything I can get my hands on and if you ever want someone to read something I’m always willing. I already do it for one of my friends who is writing a novel.

Eh if I were at the one downtown and had been waiting a long ass time I would literally fight him for getting to skip the line. He should have just went to the one in North hills early in the morning, there’s literally no one there, I was in and out in 20 minutes when I had to go.

i read an article about it and i guess he went to the one in duncan manor??? idk, i live south of pittsburgh so i couldn’t say if that’s the closest one to where he lives (tbh i don’t know where he lives except that i heard sewickley once? which makes sense) but yeah the downtown one is Cursed

fun fact: i took my test three times in three different counties (fayette, somerset and washington) but after i finally passed it (FUCK parallel parking tbh) i renew it in westmoreland county

You’re right but unfortunately We all knew the hard core shippers were gonna be that way. He knew too which is why he included that bit in the video. It’s a shame really.

i actually haven’t watched the video yet because i just read the first comments that flooded in and felt a big yikes. maybe i’ll watch it after i wake up tomorrow! :) i’m really, really happy and proud of him though! as i said, i haven’t watched it yet so i shan’t comment too much hehe!

I’d def fly if given the choice. I know my uncle drives to visit a friend but we’re about 10 house closer than it would be from Massachusetts

oh yeah, i can totally understand where you’re coming from!! i don’t understand how y’all can do road trips or drive for such a long distance! i can travel to and fro in singapore on public transport in like maybe 4 hours? i....... respect y’all yet i’m also terrified!!!!

So I’m not sure what laws are like there but in the US once you’re 18 your parents aren’t entitled to make any arrangements or receive any knowledge about your school, including registration and financial aid status, and they certainly can’t pull you out of school. Even medical withdrawals take months and it has to be proven that the student can’t sign anything for themselves before they’ll accept the parent pulling the kid out of school. I would go to your registrar and see if there’s anything You can sign that would bar your mother from accessing info/signing anything on behalf

my mom doesn’t have access to any of my official school documents, nor does she have my student id, so i’m not worried about her having any sway over my education. i have multiple digital backups of everything i’ve collected so far, including my student loan forms. the only thing i’m worried about is that she’s my guarantor for my student loans so yikes!!!!!

i’ll look into the laws and maybe speak to the school about this, just in case. thanks so much for all this info steph!!! <3

I mean it’s probably why I cry a lot now so I feel that lmao. I’m so happy you’re doing history now!! That’s my minor! It’s so interesting!! But for real just shoot me a message if you ever need something read. I’m taking some time off from everything for mental health reasons so I have tons of time.

content editing was such a fucking nightmare!!! i had to edit like close to 20 articles per day back then and bleugh!!!! i loved it and found it satisfying, but at the same time, so mentally draining ;;;; and yes, my history lessons have been steadily improving and i’m understanding more and more!!!
