I truly adore the relationship between the Pierce sisters in Black Lightning.

I relate a lot to Anissa, being the eldest sibling and the most open-minded and most socially aware. Jennifer reminds me so much of my youngest sister! Out of all three of us, she and I are pretty close. She would talk to me about typical teenager problems (i.e., high school, boyfriends)—some that she wouldn’t talk to our parents about—and I would always sit down and listen and (sometimes) give her helpful advice whenever I can.
