The fate of my ear lobes and their piercings were doomed from the moment my parents got them pierced when I was a baby. Placement all wrong, they pierced it lean, then the earring they pierced me with (piercing gun) were smaller than the average earring so I couldn't wear most of the earrings bought for me over the years. Earring got taken out for a reason I don't remember and for a month I didn't wear any earrings cause I would cry too much when they tried to put them back in.
The holes closed and my parents decided to wait until I was a pre-teen and let me make the decision to get repierced on my own.
I 100% wanted my ears pierced again so we went to do that and the place used a piercing gun. Placed the gun at the hole left over fron the original piercing but this piercer manged to pierce my ear through the original front and back hole BUT created a new channel though one of my lobe??
So I had to baby that lobe for mutliple years cause I would occasionally put in an earring and it would go throught the half closed original channel and fuck everything up.
Anyway got my second lobe piercing done over the summer and I didn't do enough research into the piercing place because I had an appointment with the place that my industrial was done (that was pierced fine but I didn't follow instructions during healing and now I have small keloids but I'm getting them removed this year) but the piercing working that day had an emergency and I didn't feel like rescheduling so I just went to a jewellery store and they used a piercing gun AND pierced it too close to the first piercing because "that's where the second piercing placement is" and because I had to take my glasses off I didn't really see the placement when they showed me so I didn't nay say it (my fault).
Anyway I don't have space for a third lobe piercing so it's cartilage from here on out.
(The nose piercing I got at the same time is healing fine luckily even thought they put in on of those L-shaped stud that kept falling out if the breeze blew too hard and I had to do the sanitisation process and ask my mother to put it back in for me like 5 times the day after I got the piercing cause I couldn't get it in myself so on the second day after the piercing I went to the more reputable piercer that I had the appointment with and they replaced it with a flat back labret stud and it's doing fine three months later.
