"Hey Kris?" Clint said, drumming his fingers on the steering wheel.
"Yea?" Kristen mumbled, her head still tilted against the seat belt.
"I know we just got done with a mission and should head home, but."
"But what?" She yawned, rolling her head to actually look at him.
"Right now, we're about a two hour drive from my house. And I was kinda wondering, if we could maybe head there for maybe a few days?"
She blinked at him a few times before shrugging a little, before nodding. It wasn't like she didn't know that he had a home, and a wife and kids that he didn't get to see often. And if he trusted her enough to take her there, it made her feel a little special.
"Yea, we can do that. But don't expect me to stay awake for the drive." She smiled.
With a small laugh, he pulled the car onto the next road, signs pointing towards the highway, as she put her seat in the laying position.
"There's a pillow behind my seat, that you can use." Clint said, turning the radio to another station.
"I already said yes, no need to butter me up." She chuckled, pulling said thing from behind the seat.
"And I'll text speedy for you too."
"No texting and driving." She mumbled, and was out before she got a response.

When the two arrived, the sun was already below the horizon but Laura was standing on the porch when they pulled up. Kristen got out of the car more slowly, letting Clint jump out and give his wife kisses. When she got to the porch, she was a little surprised when the woman pulled her into a hug, forgoing the normal handshake.
"So you're the new avenger." Laura said, once she let her go.
"That's me. Normally I would look a little less like I just got my butt kicked, but, ya know." She smiled, as Laura laughed.
"Yea, Clint told me what had happened, and what was going on. So I got the guest room ready, and some clothes so you can shower and then get some real sleep."
"That sounds like heaven."
"I'll bet. So follow me, and I'll take you to your room."
Once Kristen was done with her shower, she slipped on the night clothes that Laura had set out, before heading to her room. Getting in the room, a soft smile came across her face. On her nightstand was a few granola bars and two bottles of water, with a bottle of pain killers. Sitting on the bed, she opened a bar and took a few bites before she washed it down with some water, before doing the same with the pills. Once two of the bars were gone; she finished off the water before crawling into bed. It wasn't as soft as the one in the stark tower, but the sheets were soft and smelled like flowers and fresh air. It didn't take her long before she was fast asleep again.
When she woke up the next morning, she was surprised to see quite how late it was but they did do a mission the day before. Climbing out of bed, she could hear children laughing outside, where she was guessing Clint was with them.
On the cedar chest, at the end of the bed, was her clothes folded and clean, next to another set of clothes. Grabbing them, she smiled at how nice Laura was being, and changed. The shirt was a little tight fitting, but it was soft and smelled like the sheets, so she didn't really want to change. Heading out, she made her way downstairs, before finding the kitchen.
"There you are, I was afraid I was going to have to send a search party. When I heard you moving around, I set up a plate for you."Laura smiled, looking up at her before going back to what she was doing, then looking back up.
"Being a hero is pretty tiring. Thank you." She smiled, picking up a piece of bacon and popping it in her mouth.
When Laura didn't say anything else, Kristen looked back up, taking almost a set back at how the other was looking at her.
"What?"
"They're letting you work?"
"Uh, yea?" Kristen said, face contorting on confusion.
"They're letting you work?" She repeated. "In your condition, they're letting you go fight bad guys."
"My what?"
"Condition." She said, stepping close to her.
"I don't. What?"
Without a word, Laura pulled Kristens shirt up, rubbing her fingertips over the skin of her stomach.
"Wha?"
"There's a baby growing in here." She said, without hesitation.
"What are you? How can you know that? What?"
"I've had three kids, I can tell the softness a mother starts to get, and where the bump starts to form. I could see it the second I saw you, out of that other outfit and not covered in grime. You can take a test, when you go back home. But believe me, you're pregnant."
Kristen was stunned, as Laura pulled her shirt back down, pulling her into her arms.
"I'm pregnant." Kristen said, her voice cracking.
"You're pregnant."
The rest of the mini vacation was nice, but Kristen couldn't get her mind off what Laura had said. Was she really pregnant? Her and Pietro were always safe, or at least she thought they were. So could it be true. It was still on her mind as they got to the tower, heading up the elevator.
The doors barely had time to ding and open, before Kristen was being spun around.
"Oh, I have missed you." Pietro said, pressing his lips to Kristens once he put her down.
Kristen kissed him back, before resting her forehead on his chest as the room was still spinning.
"I missed you too. But no more spinning me like that, unless you want me to throw up on you."
"I don't think I would like that much. But another kiss, that I know I would."
Kristen laughed, and shook her head, but kissed him again, wrapping her arms around his neck.
She wasn't paying any attention, that the elevator went up, and they were now at the floor with her room. And that Clint had gotten off at his floor.
"Well. Isn't this convenient." He smirked, lifting her up, and carrying her out.
"Oh, you think so, huh?"
"Am I wrong?" He asked, smirk still in place.
"Just kiss me."
"Yes, ma'am."

"Come in." Kristen called, from where she was reading on her bed.
"Hey." Clint greeted, walking into the room.
"Hey, what's up."
"I got you something." He said, tossing the bag he had to her.
Catching it, she looked confused, until she saw the little box.
"She told you?" Kristen asked, looking up from the bag.
"Yea, told me to make sure you got one. She's pretty sure, but, yea."
"Ok, ok. I'll go pee on a stick." She mumbled.
"Do you want me to wait here?" He asked, as she got up and headed into the bathroom.
"Sure."
She wasn't entirely sure how they expected you to pee on the little stick for so long, but she managed. Once that was done, she put it on the counter and opened the door for Clint.
"Hey, just think, it's almost Father's Day. So if you are, it would be the perfect time to tell him."
The only response he got was a smack to the arm.
"So are you going to go back for that day?" Kristen asked.
"I was thinking about it, trying to get rid of me?
"Pretty sure it wouldn't be too hard."
"Ouch."
Kristen checked the time, with a sigh she picked up the little stick.
"Fuck."
"Pretty sure that's how that extra line got there."
If looks could kill, Clint wouldn't of lived past those words.

Kristen was nervous, as she looked at the white envelope in her hands. It was a pretty simple card, but what was inside would make all the difference. Wanda was going to get Her brother, having been told what was going on. Not only was she a close friend, she wouldn't stop asking why Kristen looked so scared. So she told her and in the end, she helped plan what Kristen had in mind.
"Hello?" Pietro called, walking onto the roof.
"Over here." Kristen said, from where she was sitting on a spread blanket.
Pietro smiled, and the next moment was sitting on the blanket next to her.
"Hi there." He said, tilting her chin up and giving her a small kiss.
"Hi yourself."
"What is this?" He asked, looking around.
All around them were glass jars with candles in them, surrounded with flowers and babies breath. On the blanket with them, was an array of desserts, all heart shaped.
"I figured today is kind of a special day."
"It is? I didn't forget something, did I?" He asked, looking slightly panicked.
"No, you didn't. This was something I was aware of, but you were not."
"Huh?"
"Here." She said, handing him the envelope.
He raised an eyebrow, but took it and opened it slowly, pulling the card out. On the front, it was green with silver letters that read 'your special day'. As he opened the card, something slipped out, and onto his lap. Picking it up, his eyebrows were together in confusion before his eyes widened.
"This."
"Read the rest." She said, in a soft voice.
Looking back to the card, his jaw dropped even more, a few tears springing in his eyes.
"Happy Father's Day, to a soon to be dad." He read out loud. "You're."
"I'm pregnant." She said.
"We're going to have a baby?"
"We are."
He opened and closed his mouth a few times but nothing came out. Dropping the card and the ultrasound picture, the cupped the sides of Kristens face, pulling her into a kiss.
"я люблю тебя." He whispered against her lips.
"I love you too."
