If I had a nickel for every time an actor who was in the Pitch Perfect franchise played a funny DC character in a James Gunn project, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but I love that it happened twice.

“You may as well have cheated on me with this man with who you sing the YMCA,” Pieter said, jealousy laced in his tone. “Right, Kom?”
“Don’t look to me, I also think this is stupid,” she said. “The YMCA they sang together while seven feet apart hurt no one.”
“It hurt me,” Pieter said. “My feelings.”
“Well, babe, I’m sorry that I hurt your feelings,” you said, touching his chest. “But I can do stuff with other people.” You felt his arm come around you, and his lay flat against the small of your back. On your tippy toes, you leaned into his ear to whisper. “Be good, and we can do all of the things you like that are just for you later.”
“I think maybe I’m cured,” Pieter said. “Come, my love. Let’s dance.”
“Stupid. Men are stupid,” Kom said, watching the two of you walk off. “Easier to train dog.”

[Name] stood apart of the group as she watched Das Sound Machine hype themselves up for their turn in the Finals. Since she wasn’t a member of the group, she didn’t want to intrude but she was happy to stand on the sideline, ready to cheer them on. “Pieter! Kommissar!” [Name] called out, beckoning them to her when she saw the group head toward the stage. When they came over, she quickly kissed Kommissar and then Pieter. “Good luck. Knock them dead.”
Pieter said when [Name] pulled away, “Of course, liebling.”
“Be ready to be amazed, little maus”. Kommisar told her before she grabbed Pieter’s hand and began leading him to the stage.

i’m sad that DSM isn’t going to be in PP3. like how can you give us something that was so good and then rip it away?
