What is your favorite monster design?
Unironically.
Pig Orc
But when it showcases how CUTE a pig actually is cause usually people draw pig faced orcs as absolutely GNARLY to look at.
(don't question why I have pictures of this one specific orc)
I find it terribly ironic that often in media, orcs are depicted as uncultured, violent, primitive, savage, and violent. Meanwhile actual pigs (which is speculated often that Orc is a very old Welsh word FOR pig, but that is only speculation and not to be taken as gospel) are actually very clean, intelligent, social creatures.
I think that the pig facedness opens up a lot of doors to a broad spectrum of unique orcs.
Remember, every pig is perfect.
Orc (Modern)
Pig-like humanoids known for appearing in large hordes to unexpectedly attack settlements. Why they do this is strange. Orcs don’t need to do this for food or resources, as they are able to consume almost anything and don’t suffer from a lack of necessary resources in their homelands. Like pigs, orcs have litters of 8-10, but they have a very skewed sex ratio. For every 7 or 8 boys, there’s 1 girl. This creates a surplus of males vying for a limited number of females, especially since orcs cannot have multiple paternities. Ordinarily boars fight over mates with their tusks. This may be why orcs originally developed tusks, but such competition won't create a harmonious society. Orcs can't have a human-like community if all the guys are fighting each other. Instead we have the raiding system. Before an orc man can marry an orc woman, he has to present her with a battle prize, something which demonstrates his prowess in combat and ability to survive dangerous situations. The cooler the treasure, the more dangerous the battle, the better the chances of marriage. But the purpose of this dowry isn't to bring back treasure, it's to kill surplus orcs. The majority will die far away from home and reduce the pool of bachelors. Anyone who does come back demonstrates their ability to survive and thus passes on good, strong genes to the next generation. It's a win-win... unless you're one of the many orcs who dies. Older orcs tend to be somber, morose, battle-hardened, while young orcs are energetic and enthusiastic to prove themselves.
-Habitat: Habitat generalists.
-Slayer Tactics: When fighting a large number of opponents, let their own size become your weapon. Lure them into a narrow space where those in the back cannot fight without hurting their companions.

Yettle the orc
Yettle was a joke character for a one shot that became a reoccurring character on account of his immensely powerful but useless ability. Yettle is a singular person but also a collective entity that has the ability to perceive the multiverse in it’s entirety. Each of the Yettle’s can perceive themselves in their own reality’s but can also see "passively" the alternative perspectives of the other Yettles in adjacent reality’s. They are like an omnipotent being that only has knowledge of the present and their own past memories. Yettle would talk in the third person and would understandably be a little weird, picture a goofy Ice bear from WeBearBears. But how did such an entity arise in the universe….well that’s a stoty for another time >:3

some porcs because i love porcs
"I...am Hermaeus Mora. The Gardener of Men. Knower of the Unknown..." The wizened porcine spoke, his facial muscles so detailed of aged leather and veins that shouldn't be so animated. His lips carrying such defined swoons yet throat seemed to constantly growl and croak with inky phlegm that stained the old man's black mouth. Or rather, the Thing that spoke through his flesh. Such a detached use of its thrall as a whimsical puppet as it smiled almost ear-to-ear.
"The Master of Fates. And your fate brought you to me, Hero."
Listen I had to draw an orc in one of these I just had to uvu pray for my homies body he got flattened hard
