He absolutely despises the way this other Dust is. How he acts. How he's so soft around the edges.

How he looks at him with such pity.

Yet can match his attacks like nothing

He doesn't deserve to have the name 'Dust'.

I saw that you wouldn’t mind answering that last ask but with the outcodes lol

How would the outcodes react to an SO offering their soul to them?

Starling- Baffled. You want them to have your soul? They're unsure if they could take such an offering.

Dove- S/O might have to convince them, as their first reaction is to deflate and laugh and go 'of course'. They're used to a lot of people *thinking* they want to give them their soul.

Gull- Honestly isn't sure what to do with this. He pauses and his smile drops and he is just, confused. What does he do with this? While his own soul glitches as he tries to work out his feelings.

Pigeon- Startled and tries to make s/o put it away. He's unsure how he tricked you into thinking he deserves your soul but please! Hide it before Dire sees!

Dire- Free Real Estate. Possession Time™️

Decoy- Gives a sad smile, as he doesn't have one to offer in return. The gesture isn't lost on him though.

Ducky- Doesn't know how to feel. But if s/o is someone close to him he'll keep tabs on them. And when their time comes, he'll slip a fragment of their soul into a doll to keep. He knows Decoy and Ibis would help him with it.

Shrike- Tells s/o off for bringing out such a vulnerable and important part of themself. But, he'd be touched, in a gruff protective way.

Dal- Baffled and makes sure Dire isn't around, but to be that close with him, he'd most likely accept with a shy voice.

Ibis- Clicks their tongue and gives a gentle reminder that they will come to collect, just not right now.

Ber- Scolds slightly, but mostly because he's upset with himself and his limitations. He can't BE there for s/o and most likely, he can't touch them... It's basically teasing the poor gate keeper.

Bug- Wishes he could give his to s/o too. The best he can do is kiss the screen he's stuck behind.

Nix- 'Thank you~ Such a good pet you are!' And readily marks it.

Gale- Unsure, self doubting, and might withdraw for a moment. But give her time to think, and she might accept.

Berries- It has not a clue what the fuck to do with a soul that's not a skeleton monsters. It tries to possess the soul.

Chimera- 'FOR MEEEEE? :D' Consumes.

Painted- A lot like Decoy, he's kind of sad and appreciates the gesture.

Doodling to warm up arm to drawing again

so playing around with timeline stuff and aus and figured i'd put my thoughts down. Lots of ramblings under the cut

So we got Macaw (My Classic Sans)

He's the starting point for three alternate timelines, granted two are 'unused data'. Their timelines never happened but they gained sentience and Starling (my Nightmare) rescued them before that data was scrubbed out of existence.

Vulture of course, horrortale. He technically died and is older. But Gull(KillerVariant) and Pigeon(DustVariant) are still roughly Macaw's age.

I bring this up because some things that occur to Macaw is shared with Gull and Pigeon then. Memories and Emotions that Macaw gains are then shared with Gull and Pigeon. If Macaw say, gets a crush? Then Gull and Pigeon feel that same crush on the same person. It's up to them if they want to pursue it though and it's one way- so if Gull falls in love it doesn't affect Macaw or Pigeon.

Vulture, seeing as he 'died', lost this connection to his past self.

Now lets look at my Classic Papyrus, Lupo

Hyena didn't die like Vulture, so memories still affect him. The memories can get confusing because, Lupo knows Jackal (my Fell Papyrus) but he's never BEEN to the surface or met this person. Emotions are dampened though, he feels a faint 'memory' of the emotion. So humans gaining Lupo's favor still are not safe from Hyena.

But Dire(DustPapyrus) is like Pigeon, memories and emotions are strong. It honestly makes him angrier about his current ghostly status. The reason his 'death' doesn't cut him free like Vulture is because he never actually died. That timeline never happened, and therefore he never had a body to begin with. It pisses him off a LOT.

And one last bit, back to Macaw

Macaw's future is set. He becomes Bug (Geno) then Ducky(Error).

This won't affect Gull or Pigeon as it's not their futures, only Macaw's.

"How is Bug and Ducky and Macaw all here now together?" You might ask

Hi I was the anon who asked about how the skeletons felt about humans, this ask is about the same thing but I wanted to know about the other skeletons. I also wanna ask more questions about the skeletons we don’t hear about much about; So I’ll probably ask more about them. You don’t have to answer the ask u don’t want to of course. Srry for that small rant

How do the other skeletons feel about humans/ strangers?

Sorry this took a bit, some struggle to remember who had been asked ^^; I ASSUME the main 12, so I'm gonna go with outcodes and such! (Apologies if there is a repeat!) AND YESSSS please feel free to ask about any of them! I have a pinned post with links to all the variants!! 💙💙💙

Starling- Humans, monsters, they find it difficult to trust anyone in general.

Dove- Opposite of their sibling, they sometimes trust a little too much. Neither are worried about humans harming them- they ARE deities after all.

Gull- Humans sure are something!

Pigeon- Doesn't trust them one bit.

Dire- He's a ghost he only cares if they have enough magic for him to possess.

Shrike- Has a very bad reaction to most humans, but he's getting better.

Dal- Look as long as his brother is calm he's calm. Mostly.

Ibis- They're a Grim Reaper. They like human inventions but otherwise they aren't afraid one bit.

Ber- Finds humans sort of entertaining but again, is not worried about them. Finds some of them a bit annoying when it comes to accepting that they are dead.

Bug- Hates when they get stuck in a cellphone. That's about it.

Decoy- Fascinated, nothing more.

Ducky- Annoyed, nothing more.

Painted- They distract him long enough.

Berries- It's not interested in humans, since it can't infect them.

Nix- Beautiful, gorgeous. So resilient, so in need of love and luxury. His castle often has a good mix of humans and monsters to keep him entertained and to feed off of.

Gale- Some can be very pretty, but she's busy trying to kill Nix and help other versions of herself. Also general trust issues thanks to her childhood home.

What skellies do you feel like Polly and their boys would dislike out of your cast?

Oooo this is a tricky one because the boys themselves work with two of my cast (Vulture and Hyena) (At least on Tumblr i don't think they're gonna appear in Polly's fic)

And they've 'on screen' met Nix, Gale, and Starling and Dove's posse.

I can say for SURE none of them like Nix. Not a single one wants to think of that bird bastard being in their minds and souls. While his sister, Gale, is welcomed to Nightmare's realm.

Vulture and Hyena are on thin ice. Hyena loves to torment Dust and Killer. Vulture criticizes Axe on being 'too soft'. Polly doesn't really trust either of them, but them working for Nightmare allows Axe to visit his brother Sugar more often. So they kinda suck it up and avoid the two when they visit.

Starling throws the boys off hard. They look like a princely Boss after all, same aura even. But then they speak and Killer especially just gets DREAM vibes from the guy and it. Pisses. Him. Off. If it weren't for Gull and Shrike he'd probably focus on attacking Starling.

Dove is easier for the boys to deal with, though Cross is more likely to avoid them. The flying sure as hell is annoying, along with their aura dampening Nightmare's abilities at times.

Seagull actually really annoys Killer. But not because he can match Killer's attacks... it's after the fights when the others mockingly state how alike Gull is to Killer, and it burns him up inside. Polly refuses to engage in that and reassures him that he's smarter than Gull. And funnier.

Dust feels a similar hatred for Pigeon. Everything he went through and his alternate is this frightened, shaking thing? He minds Dire a lot less, because at least Dire (when he's possessing Pigeon) utilizes their abilities to their full extent. Killer and Cross tend to ignore him- he's not really a threat. Axe does NOT LIKE DIRE. Dire loves to target him and Vulture when he's taken over.

But out of Starling and Dove's men, Shrike and Dal are the ones they have to be careful around. Shrike does not hold back, and has even pinned Cross down to mock him about it. He's only stopped from dusting any of them on Dove's orders. Dal tends to hide and snipe at the Bad Sanses, so he's been rarely seen.

Cross can't fight Dalmatian.

Granted after the Rescue, Starling and Dove have crossed paths less with Nightmare and his men.

But aside from them, Polly's visited a few of the main cast! They find Crow fun to tease, and Jackal and Falcon often have a friend of their's around. They avoid Macaw and Lupo for personal reasons- Classic Coded skelebros are just a sore spot for them.

They've also bumped into Dingo at some points, but have only recently realized it's the Same Guy in those various aus.
