While Dove and Dream practice to open a strong enough portal, Gale watches on a little too... murdery.

How would the outcodes react to an SO offering their soul to them?

Starling- Baffled. You want them to have your soul? They're unsure if they could take such an offering.

Dove- S/O might have to convince them, as their first reaction is to deflate and laugh and go 'of course'. They're used to a lot of people *thinking* they want to give them their soul.

Gull- Honestly isn't sure what to do with this. He pauses and his smile drops and he is just, confused. What does he do with this? While his own soul glitches as he tries to work out his feelings.

Pigeon- Startled and tries to make s/o put it away. He's unsure how he tricked you into thinking he deserves your soul but please! Hide it before Dire sees!

Dire- Free Real Estate. Possession Time™️

Decoy- Gives a sad smile, as he doesn't have one to offer in return. The gesture isn't lost on him though.

Ducky- Doesn't know how to feel. But if s/o is someone close to him he'll keep tabs on them. And when their time comes, he'll slip a fragment of their soul into a doll to keep. He knows Decoy and Ibis would help him with it.

Shrike- Tells s/o off for bringing out such a vulnerable and important part of themself. But, he'd be touched, in a gruff protective way.

Dal- Baffled and makes sure Dire isn't around, but to be that close with him, he'd most likely accept with a shy voice.

Ibis- Clicks their tongue and gives a gentle reminder that they will come to collect, just not right now.

Ber- Scolds slightly, but mostly because he's upset with himself and his limitations. He can't BE there for s/o and most likely, he can't touch them... It's basically teasing the poor gate keeper.

Bug- Wishes he could give his to s/o too. The best he can do is kiss the screen he's stuck behind.

Nix- 'Thank you~ Such a good pet you are!' And readily marks it.

Gale- Unsure, self doubting, and might withdraw for a moment. But give her time to think, and she might accept.

Berries- It has not a clue what the fuck to do with a soul that's not a skeleton monsters. It tries to possess the soul.

Chimera- 'FOR MEEEEE? :D' Consumes.

Painted- A lot like Decoy, he's kind of sad and appreciates the gesture.

What skellies do you feel like Polly and their boys would dislike out of your cast?

Oooo this is a tricky one because the boys themselves work with two of my cast (Vulture and Hyena) (At least on Tumblr i don't think they're gonna appear in Polly's fic)

And they've 'on screen' met Nix, Gale, and Starling and Dove's posse.

I can say for SURE none of them like Nix. Not a single one wants to think of that bird bastard being in their minds and souls. While his sister, Gale, is welcomed to Nightmare's realm.

Vulture and Hyena are on thin ice. Hyena loves to torment Dust and Killer. Vulture criticizes Axe on being 'too soft'. Polly doesn't really trust either of them, but them working for Nightmare allows Axe to visit his brother Sugar more often. So they kinda suck it up and avoid the two when they visit.

Starling throws the boys off hard. They look like a princely Boss after all, same aura even. But then they speak and Killer especially just gets DREAM vibes from the guy and it. Pisses. Him. Off. If it weren't for Gull and Shrike he'd probably focus on attacking Starling.

Dove is easier for the boys to deal with, though Cross is more likely to avoid them. The flying sure as hell is annoying, along with their aura dampening Nightmare's abilities at times.

Seagull actually really annoys Killer. But not because he can match Killer's attacks... it's after the fights when the others mockingly state how alike Gull is to Killer, and it burns him up inside. Polly refuses to engage in that and reassures him that he's smarter than Gull. And funnier.

Dust feels a similar hatred for Pigeon. Everything he went through and his alternate is this frightened, shaking thing? He minds Dire a lot less, because at least Dire (when he's possessing Pigeon) utilizes their abilities to their full extent. Killer and Cross tend to ignore him- he's not really a threat. Axe does NOT LIKE DIRE. Dire loves to target him and Vulture when he's taken over.

But out of Starling and Dove's men, Shrike and Dal are the ones they have to be careful around. Shrike does not hold back, and has even pinned Cross down to mock him about it. He's only stopped from dusting any of them on Dove's orders. Dal tends to hide and snipe at the Bad Sanses, so he's been rarely seen.

Cross can't fight Dalmatian.

Granted after the Rescue, Starling and Dove have crossed paths less with Nightmare and his men.

But aside from them, Polly's visited a few of the main cast! They find Crow fun to tease, and Jackal and Falcon often have a friend of their's around. They avoid Macaw and Lupo for personal reasons- Classic Coded skelebros are just a sore spot for them.

They've also bumped into Dingo at some points, but have only recently realized it's the Same Guy in those various aus.

Dove- They press in and coo like their namesake, the warmth almost too much as they lean in and kiss soft and sweet. Wings flutter when they pull away and wink saucily while licking their lips. Enjoy that shot of Positivity for the rest of the night~

Starling- Cool touch gently lifts their datemate's chin and a soft cold breath puffs over their datemate's lips. A soft, calm kiss is given and they pet their mate's cheek before turning away to continue their work.

Gull- "SPIDERMAN KISS!" He swings down from the doorway and he and his datemate smack heads and end up concussed.

Pigeon- A soft nuzzle at most, he isn't a fan of kisses.

Dire- Ghost kisses!!

Shrike- Huffs and leans down, giving a little kiss on the head. He does this while hiding a smirk and waiting for them to get bratty about it.

Dal- Flustered, but does lean down and take their hand. Giving a gentleskel kiss to the back of their hand.

Ibis- 😞💔 Cannot kiss... it'd be a kiss of death. BUT if they can... they kiss their partner's cheek then float out of reach~

Ber- Like his sibling, if he CAN, he picks up his smaller mate and kisses them, then sets them down and pats their head.

Bug- Kiss emojis from ur phone.

Ducky- "I AM NOT KISSING ANYONE!!!"

Decoy- hands out chocolate kisses.
