Made a rainforest themed oneshot yet never actually researched rainforests for descriptions it truly could've been a normal forest and nothing would have changed
why haven’t I heard anything about Pantheon this show is so fucking good season 1 genuinely had me flabbergasted
still thinking about how insane trolls world tour as a premise is like like what do you mean your underling themes are colonialism and racism within troll society making your main character poppy a white saviour idealist
they probably didn’t mean to but like real colonialism the pop trolls takeover still has lasting effects like all the songs the different trolls songs still have a pop effect to them especially rock and country like
beyond that after pop trolls colonial rule they were then enslaved by a predator species like the timeline is crazy how long between their colonial fall and their experience with the bergens begin
AND speaking of timelines i haven’t watched the third one but the idea of branch escaping imprisonment with his pop troll people as a baby to leaving the society as a toddler to perform in a group with his brothers (questionable child labour) to then return to pop trolls society to live with his grandma IN WHICH HE KILLS BY SINGING (he doesn’t he blames himself for her death when in all actuality the blame is all on the bergens for their societal beliefs of happiness) like he’s 6 in that who the fuck raises him afterwards like as much as you can say he is a survivalist he is way too young to be that straight away anyways i have too many thoughts about this
guys before i continue to talk about pantheon or anything else what the fuck was the age gap between caspian and maddie? like i assume they retcon her age but idk they planned everything to carry over to season 2 really well but the age thing weirded me out for a lot of episodes
